Shandra Linell Wilson and Luke Wayne Pinion were married on Oct. 3 in a ceremony at Evergreen Baptist Church in Tulsa. A reception followed at the church.
Wilson is the daughter of Joetta (Miller) Wilson, of Catoosa, and Mark Wilson, of Tulsa. She is the granddaughter of Opal and the late Joe Miller, of Woodward, and of Clara Thompson, of Enid. She is the great-granddaughter of the late Pete and Rose Miller. She was home schooled and graduated from high school in 2006. She currently works as a photographer at Target.
Pinion is the son of Michael and Kristy Pinion, of Tulsa. He is the grandson of Kenneth and Frances Dare and Helen and the late Joel Pinion. He was home schooled and graduated from high school in 2005. In 2008, he graduated from Union University in Jackson, Tenn. with a degree in media graphics. He works in Tulsa.
The bride wore a dress with a bodice of white chiffon over satin and skirt of chiffon draped over tulle with a full chiffon train, which was made by her aunt Jonnie Young.
The bridal attendants were Kalie Wilson and Chaney Wilson, sisters of the bride. They wore aqua satin tops with black satin skirts, with a black satin cummerbund that was made by their aunt Jonnie Young.
The groom’s attendants were Caleb Pinion and Aaron Pinion, brothers of the groom.
Church friends acted as servers and other assistants for the wedding.
The couple enjoyed a wedding trip to Denver and Colorado Springs. They make their home in Broken Arrow.
