Rittenhouse-Cusumano

Rhonda Jo Rittenhouse and Mark Joseph Cusumano exchanged wedding vows June 23, 2007 at St. James Cathedral in downtown Orlando, Fla.

Rittenhouse is originally from Woodward and graduated from Woodward High School. She received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas-Dallas and master’s from Webster University in Orlando, Fla., in marriage and family therapy. She works as a care coordinator with the ALS Association, Florida Chapter.

Her parents are Diana and David Peterson of Vero Beach, Fla. and Ric and Shelly Rittenhouse of Woodward.

Cusumano is a graduate of Bucholz High School in Gainesville, Fla. and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida. He is a regional vice president, annuities and mutual funds, with Pacific Life.

Cusumano’s parents are the late Dr. Charles Cusumano and JoAnn Cusumano of Gainesville, Fla.

For her wedding, Rittenhouse wore a white Henry Roth chemise gown embroidered with pearls and rhinestones. She had a white veil with beaded, scalloped edges and a bouquet of hot pink and orange daisies, green hydrangeas and orchids.

Her attendants were Shyla Funk (Meadows), Racquel Turner (Pummel), Gena Sweeny, Phyllis Comu, Denise Haynsworth and Amanda Rushing. The attendants wore floor length satin gowns in ‘steel’ adorned with rhinestones and sweep tranes.

Cusumano’s attendants were David Cusumano, Bill Diaz, Anthony Diaz, Ben Mitchell, Brian Henderson and Richard Reeves.

A reception was held at the Downtown Embassy Suites. Servers and other assistants were Logan Rittenhouse and Ryan Cusumano - ringbearers; and Ava Vause - flower girl.

The couple took a wedding trip to South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe. They will live in Orlando, Fla.
