Woodward, Okla. — ALTUS – The Boomer basketball teams split Western Conference games at Altus on Tuesday.
Woodward's girls won their second game in a row with a 46-36 win over the Lady Bulldogs but the boys dropped a 54-52 decision.
Mercedeez Bell scored 19 points as the Woodward girls improved to 5-15.
In the boys game, the Boomers led by 17 points after the first quarter but Altus rallied for the win.
Taylan Iliff had 22 points for the Boomers, who fell to 9-11.
Woodward will host Elgin on Friday for homecoming.
In area action, Seiling defeated Leedey twice, winning the girls game 42-38 and the boys 65-37.
At Mooreland, the Burlington girls handed the Lady Cats just their second loss of the season, 54-38. Mooreland's boys posted a 53-39 victory.
Mooreland plays Fairview on Friday.
