WHS teams sweep Alva

ALVA - Woodward's girls won their fourth game of the season here Monday night, edging Alva 37-35.

It was the Boomers second win over Alva this season, both by two points.

Mikala Wynn scored 18 points, including five in the final 2:32 of the game to lead the Boomer girls.

Wynn's free throw with 14 seconds left provided the final margin.
