Woodward, Okla. — The Boomer high school basketball teams swept Western Conference games at Clinton on Tuesday.
Woodward's girls overcame a 4-point deficit in the fourth period and defeated Clinton 49-45. Haylee Bates scored the Boomers final 11 points and ended with 25 for the game.
Woodward is 2-8 on the season.
In the boys game, the Boomers overcame a sluggish start to defeat Clinton 50-43. Taylan Iliff, Kaleb Roach and Ty Richey scored in double figures as the Boomers evened their season record at 5-5.
Woodward is off until Jan. 15 when it hosts Weatherford at Boomer Fieldhouse.
