Tickets on sale

Some reserved football tickets remain available and are on sale at the Woodward High School office, said Andy Newby, athletic director.

In addition, reserved parking is also available for purchase at the high school office.

The Boomers open their home schedule on Friday against Garden City, Kan.



Baseball camp

Let it Fly, a 2010 Oklahoma baseball camp, will be held at Woodward’s Fuller Park on Sunday.

The University of Oklahoma baseball coaching staff is putting on the camp, which goes from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. For additional information on the camp go to www.oklahomabaseballcamp.com or call 405-325-8357.



Volleyball registration

The registration period for adult volleyball teams at Kids, Inc. is going on and will run through Sept. 22. Kids, Inc. hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday.



Tournament brackets

Brackets are out for a pair of softball tournaments this week.

Woodward Middle School is in the Elk City Tournament starting Thursday. The A team faces Canute at 10:10 a.m. and the B squad is against Frederick at 9 a.m. Mooreland plays Hydro-Eakly at 9 a.m. Woodward’s JV is at Cimarron and faces Medford at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. Fort Supply-Fargo plays Timberlake at 1 p,.m.
