  • Leta Beasley Leta Audrey Kerfoot Williams Maggard Beasley

    Leta Audrey Kerfoot Williams Maggard Beasley, daughter of David and Ada (Hughes) Kerfoot was born in Aline, Oklahoma on May 1, 1918 and passed from this life in Ponca City, Oklahoma on April 27, 2013 at the age of 94. Leta was raised in Quinlan, Woodward, and Mooreland, Oklahoma. She attended school until the eighth grade and then later earned her GED.

    Donna J. Jackson Parker, 71 year old Woodward resident, died Thursday, May 2, 2013 at her home in Woodward.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2013 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Allen Mabra officiating.  A private family burial will be held at a later date.

  • Violet Marie Stricker Violet Marie Stricker

    Violet Marie Stricker, 96, of Woodward, Oklahoma went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 1, 2013 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.  Violet Marie was born on December 31, 1916, to Otis G. and Mary Pearl Blann, on their farm west of Woodward, Oklahoma.  She moved with her family to Cheyenne, Oklahoma, and then returned and attended Fargo High School.

    Rhonda Sue “Susie” Bruce, 53 year old Sharon resident, died Sunday, April 28, 2013 at her home in Sharon.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 2, 2013 in the South Persimmon Baptist Church with the Reverend Jay Custar officiating.  Burial will follow in the South Persimmon Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.

    Ethel Mae Dowty, 81 year old Woodward resident and former Dumas, Texas resident, died Sunday, April 28, 2013 in the Vici Nursing Home.  Graveside funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday May 2, 2013 at  Northlawn Memorial Gardens in Dumas, Texas. Services are under the direction of Billings Funeral Home of Woodward, Oklahoma.

  • Koral Kay Coffman Moyer Koral Kay Coffman Moyer

      On June 29th, 1934, at the height of the Great Depression, in the heart of dustbowl country, William Ezra Coffman and Ethel Virginia Richardson Coffman welcomed the birth of their eighth child and sixth daughter to their home in Gage, Oklahoma.  They named her Coral Cay, a name that would go through several evolutions in her lifetime, the first occurring in elementary school when, for reasons lost to time, she became Koral Kay.

    Services for Mr. Ronald L. Owen, 78, of Big Sandy were held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 23, 2013, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer, Texas with Sonny Parsons officiating. Internment will follow at Chilton Cemetery in Big Sandy. Mr. Owen passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 in Longview.

    Guymon, Oklahoma – Wanda Davidson, 69, passed away very early Tuesday, April 23, 2013.
    Wanda Lenore Miller was born on April 15, 1944 in Higgins, Texas to Dollie (Riley) and Thomas Miller.  Wanda attended Bishop Grade School and graduated from Shattuck, Oklahoma High School.  Wanda was united in marriage to George (Junior) Davidson on May 26, 1962 in Arnett, Oklahoma.  Wanda and Junior worked and made their home in Guymon.  Wanda worked for many years at First National Bank and City National Bank.  She was a devoted wife and Mom, but she loved and adored her grandkids even more.

Rommel, 69 year old Woodward resident, died Sunday, April 21, 2013 in the Cancer Center of America in Tulsa.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2013 in the Free Will Baptist Church in Woodward with Dr. Allen Mabra officiating.  Interment will be in the Mooreland Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.

    Betty Rose Scott, 88 year old Woodward resident, died Sunday, April 21, 2013 in the Mooreland Heritage Manor.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2013 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Jeremy Skaggs officiating.  Interment will be in the Elmwood Cemetery.
