Woodward, Okla. —
Don “Woody” Hill, 74 year old Woodward resident, died Wednesday, September 19, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 21, 2012 at the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Donnetta Hunter officiating. Interment will be in the Mooreland Cemetery with the United States Army providing military graveside rites.
Donald Eugene Hill was born on April 30, 1938 in Curtis, Oklahoma to Clyde Ray and Isel (Mason) Hill. Woody attended school until the eighth grade in Curtis and graduated from Mooreland High School in 1958. He was inducted into the United States Army and served his country during the Korean War. He was united in marriage to Norma Hill and together they raised her son Monty Martin. After Woody was discharged from the service he went to work all over Oklahoma building bridges. In the mid-1960's, he went to work for the City of Woodward in the Parks Department. He continued working for the City of Woodward for over 33 years, retiring as the Sexton of the Elmwood Cemetery.
He was united in marriage to Roberta Jean Barnett on October 10, 1981 in Woodward, Oklahoma. They made their home in Woodward and have continued living here since that time.
Woody enjoyed being with his family and loved telling jokes to his grandkids. He thought the world of his family and loved being with them. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
He is survived by his wife Roberta Hill of the home; children, Chuck Wheeler and wife Kathy, Sonja Russell and Jason Richey, Tracy Burke and Johnny Jones; grandchildren, Kendra Nicole Russell, Lee Madison Wheeler, Gilbert Eugene Wheeler, Leslie Charles Wheeler, Dalton Charles Wheeler, Julie Marie Bostwick, Alcia Ann Stanton, Veronica Marie Harrison, Ronnie “Piggy” Harrison, Katana Richey, Breonna Richey: great-grandchildren, Jessalyn Jean Russell, Kory Randall, Anthony Randall, Eli Randall, Melia Leanne Palomo, David Randall, Jasmine Marie King, Jordon Lee King, Andrew Ray Bostwick Jr., Austin Jacob Harrison, Kylee Madison Wheeler, Daydrien Lee Warfield; four brothers, Bill Hill and wife Wilma, Dale Hill, Roscoe Hill and wife Ann, Paul Hill; three sisters, Marjorie McDowell, Joyce McDowell, Jeanie Decker and husband Dewayne; brother-in-law, Dale Haskins; numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Wayne Hill and Charles Hill, one sister, Janice Haskins, sisters-in-law, Simmie Lou Hill, Linda Hill, two brothers-in-law, Skeet McDowell, Doug McDowell and a grandchild Casey Wheeler.

Jan R. Brown passed from this earthly life to his eternal home with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 20th, after a short illness. He was born on June 21, 1939 in El Reno OK. Jan and his wife of 56 years have enjoyed the last 20 years of semi-retirement in Hot Springs Village AR.
