Woodward, Okla. — Kathryn Wilson, 61, of Woodward, died October 29, 2012 in Oklahoma City. Funeral services will be held on Saturday , November 3, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Billings Funeral Home Chapel in Woodward. Interment will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery under the direction of Billings Funeral Home of Woodward.

Kathryn Mae (Saunders) Wilson was born to John and Hazel Saunders on July, 17, 1951 in Anderson, Indiana. As a young child her family moved to Houston, Texas where she was raised. Kathryn was an administrative assistant in the oil and gas industry.

In 1972, Kathryn was united in marriage to David A. Thomas. They were blessed with sons Steven and Kenneth from this union. In 1983, Kathryn was united in marriage to Joseph A. Wilson. They made their home in Woodward and were blessed with one son Joseph Sydney. They were united in marriage until Joseph’s passing on February 9, 1992.

On July 14, 2004 Kathryn was united with Randy Piland in Las Vegas, Nevada. They made their home in Woodward and have made their home here since that time.

Kathryn enjoyed life to the fullest and had a great passion for family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchild. She also enjoyed cooking, fishing, and a special love of growing flowers.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Joe Wilson; and her sisters Carolyn Alm and Anieta Dowdy.

Kathryn is survived by her husband Randy Piland of Woodward; three sons, Steven and his wife Linda of Ponca City; Kenneth and his wife Melyssa of Woodward; Joseph and his wife Emma of Woodward; one sister Linda Saunders of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; other relatives and many friends.

    Jan R. Brown passed from this earthly life to his eternal home with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 20th, after a short illness. He was born on June 21, 1939 in El Reno OK. Jan and his wife of 56 years have enjoyed the last 20 years of semi-retirement in Hot Springs Village AR. Many great memories have been created for family and friends in this beautiful golfing community.

As a child Lana lived on the farm near Webb, Oklahoma and attended Taloga High School graduating with the class of 1983.

    Lloyd Lorn Elston went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 11, 2013. He was born September 24, 1919 to John and Sarah Elizabeth (Taylor) Elston west of Laverne, Oklahoma in Beaver County. He was the 12th child out of 13 and the youngest boy in the family.

    Jo Ann Keltch, 68 year old Sharon resident, died Wednesday, May 8, 2013 in the Woodward Regional Hospital.   Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013 in the South Persimmon Baptist Church with the Reverend Jay Custar and the Reverend Eddie White officiating.  Burial will follow in the South Persimmon Cemetery under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.  Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday,  May 10, 2013 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
