Woodward, Okla. —
Allen E. Campbell, 76, formerly of Woodward, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at his home in Midland, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, July 9, 2012 at Elmwood Cemetery. Local arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.
Allen was born March 3, 1936 in Sharon, OK to Mabel (Jarman) and Earl Campbell. He married Barbara Lowe on May 10, 1955 in Sharon. He worked as a parts counterman for Ferguson Ford Motor Company and Bosch Electric in Woodward.
Allen was an avid sports fan for Oklahoma University. He coached baseball for little league teams at Kids Inc. He was involved in politics, as a conservative, continually watching FOX News. Allen was loved by all who knew him and was fun to be around.
Survivors include wife, Barbara of Midland, Texas; daughter, Tina Childers and husband Charles of Midland, Texas; grandson, Tyler Hudson; granddaughter, Whitney Williams; and grandson, Dillon Childers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Diana Campbell and his son, Nathan Campbell.

Karl Wayne Platte
Karl Wayne Platte was born December 2, 1980 to Kenny and Gail Platte in Big Spring, Texas. Karl tragically left this life on June 1, 2013 as a result of a car accident. He was 32 years of age. He moved with his family to Dora, New Mexico in 1986. While in Dora, Karl asked Jesus into his life at a very young age. It was there that Karl’s competitive, athletic spirit was kindled. In 1992, the Platte family moved to Wilson, Texas where Karl participated in every sport he could imagine and excelled in them all. He grew a great love for all sports and the outdoors.
