Woodward, Okla. — The funeral for Kenneth R. Glass Sr., 79 year-old former Fairmont

resident, will be 2:00pm Thursday, February 28, 2013 in the

Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Tommy Donaldson will officiate. Burial will follow in Enid Cemetery under the direction of

Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.



Kenneth was born March 24, 1933 in Wakeeney, Kansas to Roland and LoRea (Rountree) Glass and died Saturday, February 23, 2013 at the Arbor House Assisted Living in Mustang, Oklahoma. He attended Ellis schools and graduated from Ellis High School with the class of 1950. After graduation, he served as a paratrooper with the United States Army. He was stationed at Fort Bragg. While on leave in Charlotte, North Carolina he met his future wife. On April 23, 1955, he married Corneila Ann Wooten in Charlotte. The couple made their first home in Wilson Creek, Colorado. Kenneth was in the oil business all of his life and the family lived in North Carolina and Texas before settling

in Fairmont, Oklahoma in 1979. The couple moved to Mustang in 2012 to be closer to family.



After Kenneth’s retirement, he enjoyed raising cattle and roping. He

was an avid outdoorsman and loved to spend time with his family in

their cabin in Colorado. He was a Mason and a long-time member of

Bethlehem Baptist Church.



He is survived by his wife Ann, of the home; daughter, Kay Clawson and husband, Randy of Mustang; son, Kenny Glass, Jr. and wife, Terri of Perry; three grandchildren, Jennifer Bird; Stephanie Clawson; Brandon Reinhardt; three great-grandchildren, Seth Clawson and Kara and Carsten Bird; also one brother, Kirk Glass and wife, Sandy of Ft.

Payne, Alabama.



He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sharon Rickett.



Memorials may be made through the funeral home to OMRF (Alzheimer’s Division) or Bethlehem Baptist Church.

As a child Lana lived on the farm near Webb, Oklahoma and attended Taloga High School graduating with the class of 1983.

    Lloyd Lorn Elston went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 11, 2013. He was born September 24, 1919 to John and Sarah Elizabeth (Taylor) Elston west of Laverne, Oklahoma in Beaver County. He was the 12th child out of 13 and the youngest boy in the family.

    Jo Ann Keltch, 68 year old Sharon resident, died Wednesday, May 8, 2013 in the Woodward Regional Hospital.   Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013 in the South Persimmon Baptist Church with the Reverend Jay Custar and the Reverend Eddie White officiating.  Burial will follow in the South Persimmon Cemetery under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.  Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday,  May 10, 2013 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

    LaRoy “Chuck” Vernon Bailey, 74 year old rural Fargo resident, was born March 26, 1939 at Shattuck, Oklahoma, to Loys and Margretha (Toellner) Bailey. He attended school at Fargo, graduating with the “Class of 1959”. After graduating High School he went to mechanics school at Okmulgee, Oklahoma where he completed the certification requirements to be an auto mechanic.

    Mary Ann Hunt Berry was born in Camargo, OK on Aug. 24, 1933 to Anna Mildred Blair Hunt and Herman Edward Hunt.  She was one of ten children.  She departed this life on April 30, 2013.   She attended Camargo Schools, and graduated with the class of 1951.  She continued her education at Southwestern State College in Weatherford, where she completed her bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.

  • R. A. Lotspeich R.A. Lotspeich

      R.A. Lotspeich, 81 year old Rosston, Oklahoma, farmer and rancher passed away Friday, May 3, 2013.  The only son of Kenney and Osie Lotspeich, R.A. was born March 24, 1932, graduated Rosston High School 1949, and Oklahoma A & M in 1954 with a degree in agriculture.  During his college career, he was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity and the college rodeo team, excelling in bull riding.  Having been an ROTC cadet at Oklahoma A & M, R.A. went on to serve as a 1st Lieutenant in the U. S. Army for two years and was honorably discharged in 1955.
