Woodward, Okla. — Steven Ernest Wrenn, beloved husband, father and grandfather, entered rest on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at the age of 61.

He was born on March 10, 1951 to Eddie and Lucille (Pack) Wrenn in Duncan, OK.

Steve enjoyed western movies, the outdoors and was an avid hunter.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Bridgett McGhee.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Carolyn (Momon) Wrenn; daughter, Stephanie Elaine Delgado and husband Gilbert; daughter, JayCie Lee Klein and husband Doug; son, John Wrenn and wife Terri; grandchildren, Paige Delgado, Trenon Klein, Jadyn Klein, Tyler McGhee, Savannah McGhee, Kennedy McGhee, Jonathan Bohnert, Christopher Bohnert, Adam Wrenn, Loraine Wrenn and Scott Wrenn.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 4, 2013 at 3:00pm at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 14, 2013 at the First Christian Church in Woodward. Interment will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery.     Leona Austin, 91 year old Woodward resident, died Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at her home south of Woodward.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 10, 2013 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church.  Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home

  • Karl Platte Karl Wayne Platte

    Karl Wayne Platte was born December 2, 1980 to Kenny and Gail Platte in Big Spring, Texas. Karl tragically left this life on June 1, 2013 as a result of a car accident. He was 32 years of age.  He moved with his family to Dora, New Mexico in 1986. While in Dora, Karl asked Jesus into his life at a very young age. It was there that Karl’s competitive, athletic spirit was kindled. In 1992, the Platte family moved to Wilson, Texas where Karl participated in every sport he could imagine and excelled in them all. He grew a great love for all sports and the outdoors.

    Funeral services for Wilda Marie Schmidt age 84 of Woodward will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, June 4, 2013, in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Jim Steenbergen officiating.  Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery beside her beloved husband Earl.  Visitation will be held on June 3, 2013 from 9:00 am until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

    Pauline Henrietta McClung was born December 21, 1921, to Henry Matthews McClung and Phoebe Ferris James McClung on the family homestead farm west of May, Oklahoma. She died on May 29, 2013, at age 91 in Woodward, Oklahoma.

    Lamont Munsell, 92 year old Mooreland resident, died Wednesday, May 29, 2013 in the Mooreland Heritage Manor.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 1, 2013 at the First Baptist Church of Mooreland.  Burial will follow in the Mooreland Cemetery.  Military rites will be conducted by the United States Army.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home of Mooreland.
