Woodward, Okla. — Mary Weems passed away at Fairview Fellowship Home in Fairview on Saturday, August 25, 2012. Funeral services will be held at the Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Jackson, Mississippi at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 31, 2012 with burial following at Lakewood South Cemetery where she will be laid to rest beside her husband, Royce Edward Weems. The family will receive friends at the Billings Funeral Home in Woodward from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 27, 2012.

Mary Elizabeth Parker Weems was born in Jackson, Mississippi where she lived most of her life. She was a member of Leavell Woods United Methodist Church where she was an active member of the Women’s Bible Group until her move in 2005 to Woodward, Oklahoma. In Woodward she attended the Faith United Methodist Church. She was an Auxiliary Volunteer at the Woodward Regional Hospital. She was a loving wife, mother and friend who was loved by many.

She is survived by her children: Michael Edward Weems of Austin, Texas; Sally Ann Smith and husband Barry of Woodward, Oklahoma; Susan Elizabeth Jordan and husband Mike of Jackson, Mississippi; Grandchildren, Phillip Jordan and wife and wife Sara, Megan Weems, Jarrod Jordan, Michael Weems, Savannah Shirley and husband Matt, Eric Smith; Great-grandchildren, Jacob Jordan, Chance Jordan, Harlynn Shirley and Lily Jordan; sisters, Norma DeWitt and Emma Dunigan.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in lieu of flowers with the funeral home accepting the contributions.

    Jan R. Brown passed from this earthly life to his eternal home with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 20th, after a short illness. He was born on June 21, 1939 in El Reno OK. Jan and his wife of 56 years have enjoyed the last 20 years of semi-retirement in Hot Springs Village AR. Many great memories have been created for family and friends in this beautiful golfing community.

    Lana Jean Ramsey, 46 year old Vici resident, passed from this life Thursday, May 9, 2013. Lana was born on October 20, 1966 in Alva, Oklahoma to Lance and Mona Jean Stephenson. As a child Lana lived on the farm near Webb, Oklahoma and attended Taloga High School graduating with the class of 1983.

    Lloyd Lorn Elston went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 11, 2013. He was born September 24, 1919 to John and Sarah Elizabeth (Taylor) Elston west of Laverne, Oklahoma in Beaver County. He was the 12th child out of 13 and the youngest boy in the family.

    Jo Ann Keltch, 68 year old Sharon resident, died Wednesday, May 8, 2013 in the Woodward Regional Hospital.   Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013 in the South Persimmon Baptist Church with the Reverend Jay Custar and the Reverend Eddie White officiating.  Burial will follow in the South Persimmon Cemetery under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.  Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday,  May 10, 2013 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
