Woodward, Okla. —

Glenda Gale Aitson, 57 year old Woodward resident, died Thursday, January 10, 2013 at her home in Woodward.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at the St. Peter Catholic Church with Deacon Phil Kenny officiating.  Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.

 

Glenda Gale (Goodman) Aitson was born on February 24, 1955 in Ft. Worth, Texas to Glen and Louise (Cox) Goodman.  Glenda was a licensed Private Investigator in Oklahoma City before moving to Woodward in the 1990's.  She was united in marriage to Michael Aitson in 1989 in Taloga, Oklahoma.

 

She was a member of the St. Peters Catholic Church.

 

She is survived by her husband Michael Aitson of the home; one son, Dustin Bentley and wife Carrie of Oklahoma City; two daughters, Chris White and husband Dietric of Oklahoma City, Gayla Tyler and husband John of Bethany; one sister, Gayla Rumfield and husband John of Omaha, Nebraska; brother, Glen Goodman Jr. and wife Rhonda of Dallas, Texas; eight grandchildren; mother-in-law, Mary Aitson of Woodward; other relatives and many friends.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

    Jan R. Brown passed from this earthly life to his eternal home with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 20th, after a short illness. He was born on June 21, 1939 in El Reno OK. Jan and his wife of 56 years have enjoyed the last 20 years of semi-retirement in Hot Springs Village AR. Many great memories have been created for family and friends in this beautiful golfing community.

As a child Lana lived on the farm near Webb, Oklahoma and attended Taloga High School graduating with the class of 1983.

    Lloyd Lorn Elston went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 11, 2013. He was born September 24, 1919 to John and Sarah Elizabeth (Taylor) Elston west of Laverne, Oklahoma in Beaver County. He was the 12th child out of 13 and the youngest boy in the family.

    Jo Ann Keltch, 68 year old Sharon resident, died Wednesday, May 8, 2013 in the Woodward Regional Hospital.   Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013 in the South Persimmon Baptist Church with the Reverend Jay Custar and the Reverend Eddie White officiating.  Burial will follow in the South Persimmon Cemetery under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.  Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday,  May 10, 2013 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
