Woodward, Okla. —  Justin David Goodman, 32 year old Woodward resident, died Wednesday, January 9, 2013 in Enid from injuries sustained in a automobile accident on Christmas day.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 15, 2013 in the First Baptist Church with his brother, Ryan Goodman officiating.  Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.

 

Justin David Goodman was born on April 1, 1980 in Enid, Oklahoma to David and Kathi (Baxter) Goodman.  Justin was reared in Woodward and graduated with honors from Woodward High School in 1999.  During high school he worked for Sonic.  He attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University and Southwestern Oklahoma State University.  After college, Justin went to work for Mutual of Omaha for a while before going back to work  at Sonic as a Manager.

 

He was united in marriage to Amanda Sue Odell on April 18, 2009 at the First Baptist Church of Woodward, Oklahoma.  They were blessed with one daughter, McKinley Erin.  They made their home in Woodward and have lived here since that time.

 

Justin was a member of the First Baptist Church.  He was an avid OU football fan and loved the  Oklahoma City Thunder and the Denver Broncos.  Justin enjoyed spending time with Amanda and McKinley, playing fantasy football and cooking out with family and friends.

 

He is survived by his precious daughter, McKinley Erin; parents, David and Kathi Goodman of Woodward; one brother, Ryan Goodman and wife Barbara and their children James and Andrew; mother-in-law, Rebecca Odell of Woodward; aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of  friends.

 

He was preceded in death by his wife Amanda and his paternal grandparents, Elmer and Janet Goodman.

 

Memorials may be given to the Baptist Children’s Home or the McKinley Goodman Fund at the Stock Exchange Bank with the funeral home accepting the contributions.

As a child Lana lived on the farm near Webb, Oklahoma and attended Taloga High School graduating with the class of 1983.

    Lloyd Lorn Elston went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 11, 2013. He was born September 24, 1919 to John and Sarah Elizabeth (Taylor) Elston west of Laverne, Oklahoma in Beaver County. He was the 12th child out of 13 and the youngest boy in the family.

    Jo Ann Keltch, 68 year old Sharon resident, died Wednesday, May 8, 2013 in the Woodward Regional Hospital.   Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013 in the South Persimmon Baptist Church with the Reverend Jay Custar and the Reverend Eddie White officiating.  Burial will follow in the South Persimmon Cemetery under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.  Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday,  May 10, 2013 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
