Woodward, Okla. — Don Lynch, 76, of Chandler, Arizona went to meet his Lord on Friday, August, 13th, 2010. Don was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on December the 11th, 1933. He moved with his parents to Woodward, Oklahoma and graduated from Woodward High School in 1951.
Don served his country in the military and then attended Oklahoma State University where he graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering. From 1959 until 1974, he worked for the University in their Electronics Research Lab.
He met his wife Betty while in Stillwater and to this union two boys, Mike and Trent were born. In 1974 the family moved to Phoenix where Don worked for Space Data which later became Orbital Sciences Corporation where he was still employed at the time of his death.
He was preceded in death by his wife Betty in 1991. He is survived by his sons, Mike Lynch and his wife Glecy of Chandler, Trent Lynch and his wife Barbara of Apache Junction and four grandchildren, Shelby and Brandon Lynch of Chandler, Audrey and Kayla Lynch of Apache Junction. Visitation is pending from six to eight on Wednesday evening at Queen of Heaven Mortuary, with services following at nine a.m. on Thursday August 19th at Queen of Heaven Chapel. Interment is at Queen of Heaven Cemetery following the service.
