Woodward, Okla. — Phillip D. Webb Sr., 74 year old Woodward resident, died Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at his home in Woodward. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 27, 2010 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Sheldon Riley officiating. A private family burial will be held at a later date.



Phillip Dean Webb Sr. was born on March 6, 1936 in Dodge City, Kansas to Donald John and Larue Octavia (Murine) Webb. He was reared in Dodge City, Kansas and graduated from Dodge High School in 1954. He joined the United States Army and served his country proudly. In February of 1959, he was united in marriage to Patricia Nichols in Lebanon, Missouri. To this union four children were born, Debra, Brenda, Phillip Jr., and Terry. They made their first home in Washington state because Phillip was in the military. After his honorable discharge they made their home in Dodge City, Kansas. Phillip worked for Graves Truckline driving a truck. He moved to Woodward in 1981 and worked for Haines Pipeline before going to work for Durango in 2000. Phillip retired in 2008.



He loved Harley’s and enjoyed going to Sturgis and riding his trike. Phillip was a very generous person who donated to many charities, especially the veterans. He enjoyed helping his grandson work on his race car and loved watching him race. Phillip loved his family and will be missed by them very much.



He is survived by two daughters, Debra Naab and husband Lester of Evergreen, Colorado, Brenda Webb of Woodward; two sons, Phillip Dean Webb Jr. and wife Denise of Fritch, Texas, Terry Webb of Shawnee, Kansas; grandchildren, Sierra Naab, Jessica Naab, both of Denver, Colorado, Randy Sallee and wife Heather of Woodward, Leslie Miller and husband Josh of Woodward, Jake Shepherd of Mooreland, Amanda Plummer of Stinnett, Texas, Tiffany Laing and husband Ryan of Borger, Texas, Ashley Leinen and husband Cody of Stinnett, Texas and Whitney Webb of Fritch, Texas; sister, Phyllis Adams of Dodge City, Kansas; 12 great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.



He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister.
