Woodward, Okla. — Bobby Ray “Bob” Brown passed away at the St. Johns Hospital in Tulsa on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at the age of 67.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 23, 2013 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will be held in the Elmwood Cemetery.

 

Bobby Ray Brown was born in Chickasha, Oklahoma on March 21, 1945 to Jude and Annie (Holmes) Brown.  Bob worked very hard for many years in the carpet and tile industry in which he enjoyed and took much pride in.

 

He is survived by his wife Wanda Soliday of the home; brothers,  Johnny Brown, Earl Brown and wife Gladis, sister, Beverly Brown;  he was the proud father of seven children including Doranna L. Brown, who is deceased, Tamber J. Stocker-Brown of Washington, Robert R. Brown and wife Kellie of Moore, Melissa Brown of Moore; a step-father to James Johnson of Owasso, Jodie Grogan and husband Johnny of Pennsylvania, Donna Newton, who is deceased; a grandfather to Natallie M. Stocker of Washington, Kelsie Brown, Kaylie Brown, Colten Brown, Colby Brown, Cayden Beery-Brown of Moore, Michael Helfor of Illinois, Brandon Ramage of Edmond, Cody Newton of Broken Arrow, Tyson Newton of Anadarko; great-grandchildren, Samyia Stocker of Washington and Nikolas Ramage of Edmond; other relatives and friends.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters, Joann Flint, Billy G. Brown, J.A. Brown, Ruby L. Brown, Jimmy Brown, Russell Brown and his children, Doranna Brown and Donna Newton.

    Jan R. Brown passed from this earthly life to his eternal home with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 20th, after a short illness. He was born on June 21, 1939 in El Reno OK. Jan and his wife of 56 years have enjoyed the last 20 years of semi-retirement in Hot Springs Village AR. Many great memories have been created for family and friends in this beautiful golfing community.

As a child Lana lived on the farm near Webb, Oklahoma and attended Taloga High School graduating with the class of 1983.

    Lloyd Lorn Elston went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 11, 2013. He was born September 24, 1919 to John and Sarah Elizabeth (Taylor) Elston west of Laverne, Oklahoma in Beaver County. He was the 12th child out of 13 and the youngest boy in the family.

    Jo Ann Keltch, 68 year old Sharon resident, died Wednesday, May 8, 2013 in the Woodward Regional Hospital.   Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013 in the South Persimmon Baptist Church with the Reverend Jay Custar and the Reverend Eddie White officiating.  Burial will follow in the South Persimmon Cemetery under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.  Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday,  May 10, 2013 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
