Woodward, Okla. — Hazel Arnold 71 year old Woodward, resident died Sunday, February 19, 2012 in the Woodward Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday February 24, 2012 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Shane Rackley officiating.



Hazel Virginia (Garrett) Arnold was born on July 30, 1940 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Royal Cilifford and Lettie Virginia (Adams) Garrett. Hazel attended school in Elkhart, Kansas,and Liberal, Kansas before her family moved to Woodward. She graduated from Woodward High School with the class of 1958. Hazel was united in marriage to Jearold Wayne Arnold Sr. on February 18, 1960 in Clayton, New Mexico. The couple made their home in Woodward and have resided there since. To this union five children were born, Chris, Jerry, Tracey, Marci, and Barbara "Barbi". Hazel worked at Hunter’s Laundry, Trego’s, Hungry Rancher Café, and Tiny Tot Daycare.



Hazel attended the Bible Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting for her family, collecting angels, camping, playing cards and bowling, and her monthly luncheons with the girls she graduated with.



Hazel is survived by her husband Wayne of the home, one daughter, Barbara "Barbi" Eatmon and husband Michael of Woodward, three sons, Chris Arnold of Woodward; Jerry Arnold and wife Tina of Cohoes, New York; Tracey Arnold and wife Chris of Perryton, TX, two bothers, Clifford "Butch" Garrett of Disney; Darrell Shepherd of Claremore: 14 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; step-father, Melvin Shepherd and wife Dee of Freedom, other family members and friends.



She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter Marci Arnold.

    Robyn Lynn Luinstra, 32 year old Wellington, Kansas resident, died Sunday, May 20, 2012 in Wichita, Kansas.  A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 25, 2012 at the Woodward Church of Christ with James Bailey officiating.   A private family burial will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.
