Woodward, Okla. —
Penny Jones, 51 year old resident of Woodward, died Monday, July 26, 2010 in Woodward. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2010 in the Woodward First Baptist Church with the Reverend Tony Barros officiating. Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.
Penotha Sue "Penny" Jones was born September 8, 1958 in Pampa, Texas; she was the daughter of Richard Ray and Ima Jean (Taylor) Bright. She spent her early years in Pampa and graduated from Pampa High School. On April 28, 1979, Penny was married to Steve Jones in Weatherford, Oklahoma. They made their home in Weatherford. Penny had spent four years working at Free Spirit Pre-School and for the past twelve years, had worked in the Woodward Public Schools.
Penny was a member of the First Baptist Church in Woodward. She was also a member of the American Red Cross, the Classic Bowl, and the American Heart Association. Penny enjoyed photography, watching the birds and teaching computer classes. Penny loved watching her kids grow up, music and her husband.
She is survived by her husband Steve of the home; two sons, Chris Jones of Oklahoma City; Kirk Jones and wife Rachel of Woodward; one daughter Chelsey Jones of Woodward; her mother Jean Bright of Woodville, Texas; one sister, Nyla Rebbe and husband Robert of Woodville, Texas; two grandchildren Jadyn and Kasen Jones; father and mother-in-law Bob and Mervyn Jones of Watonga; sister-in-law Kim Reader and husband Ronnie of Lovington, NM; and several other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her Dad, two brothers, Jerry Lee and William Albert Stoops.
Memorials may be given to the Woodward Education Foundation with the funeral home accepting the memorials.

Richard Craig Hagberg, age 56 of Hamilton, VA died September 1, 2010 at his residence surrounded by his family. Born on October 16, 1953 in Winfield, Kansas, Craig was the son of Richard Dean Hagberg and Velda Holt Hagberg McGinn. He grew up in Woodward, Oklahoma and became an Eagle Scout. He graduated from Oral Roberts University and went on to receive his Masters from Shenandoah University. He was a member of the Harmony United Methodist Church where he was active in mission work and volunteered at The Tree of Life in Purcellville, VA.

There will be a graveside memorial service for Betty Rae (Campbell) Feil at 3:00 on September 11 at Elmwood Cemetary, Woodward, Ok. Following will be a dinner for the Campbell Cousins (grandchildren of Edith Mae and Glen E. Campbell) at Ron and Janet Brittain's home. On Sunday, September 12 there will be a potluck dinner for the Feil cousins (grandchildren of Andrew and Marie Feil) in Fargo, Ok. at the Fargo Community Center. GERTRUDE ALENE NIXON
Gertrude Alene Nixon was born northwest of Leedey, Oklahoma, to Frank and Icie (Snell) Taylor on January 15, 1926, and was reunited with them in heaven on August 30, 2010 at the age of 84 after two years of declining health. She died in a hospital in Elk City with her husband and children close by. She grew up on their family farm and attended school and played basketball at Liberty Center. Most people knew her as “Alene”.
