Woodward, Okla. — Betty Jo White, 59 year old Woodward resident, died Sunday, September 9, 2012 in the Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. Funeral services will held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 13, 2012 in the Church of the Nazarene with the Reverend Shane Rackley officiating. Interment will be in the Elmwood Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.

Betty Jo (Halford) White was born on August 3, 1953 in Sterling, Colorado to Wesley Graves and Ann Marie (Frank) Halford. Betty was reared in Loveland, Colorado and attended school there. She was united in marriage to Thomas Lee White on August 6, 1971 in Loveland, Colorado. They made their first home in Long Beach, California before moving to Woodward in 1977. They have lived in Woodward since that time.

Betty was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church. She was a stay at home mom with her children and was also able to take care of her grandchildren. Betty enjoyed decorating her house, gardening, and she loved spending time with her eight grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Lee White of the home; one son, Tom White and wife Sara of Johnstown, Colorado: two daughters, Michelle Crooks and husband Jeff of Ft. Supply, Jessica Wheeler and husband Chad of Woodward; one brother Ronnie Halford of Loveland, Colorado; three sisters, Jenny Devlin and husband Charlie of Loveland, Colorado, Nancy Warwick of North Carolina, Patty Criswell of Loveland, Colorado; eight grandchildren, Braxtin White, Payton White, Kolby Crooks, Jackson White, Kaden Crooks, Kinsley Crooks, Preston White, Madison Wheeler; mother-in-law, Ila Cornelius of Woodward; brother-in-law, Jim White of Woodward; other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Anne Marie Halford, and two brothers, Jack and Jerry Snider.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Cancer Research with the funeral home accepting the contributions.

    Jan R. Brown passed from this earthly life to his eternal home with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 20th, after a short illness. He was born on June 21, 1939 in El Reno OK. Jan and his wife of 56 years have enjoyed the last 20 years of semi-retirement in Hot Springs Village AR. Many great memories have been created for family and friends in this beautiful golfing community.

As a child Lana lived on the farm near Webb, Oklahoma and attended Taloga High School graduating with the class of 1983.

    Lloyd Lorn Elston went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 11, 2013. He was born September 24, 1919 to John and Sarah Elizabeth (Taylor) Elston west of Laverne, Oklahoma in Beaver County. He was the 12th child out of 13 and the youngest boy in the family.

    Jo Ann Keltch, 68 year old Sharon resident, died Wednesday, May 8, 2013 in the Woodward Regional Hospital.   Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013 in the South Persimmon Baptist Church with the Reverend Jay Custar and the Reverend Eddie White officiating.  Burial will follow in the South Persimmon Cemetery under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.  Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday,  May 10, 2013 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
