Woodward, Okla. — Click below to watch a short video from one of the water refilling stations that area firefighters had set up along the 2100 block of 48th St. Sunday evening as they worked to keep a grass fire contained that damaged areas between 34th and 48th Streets between Hanks Trail and Oklahoma Avenue. At some times the fire threatened a number of structures and several homes were evacuated until around midnight. In the video, which was taken around 10:30 p.m. Sunday, you will see a grass rig and a brush pumper being refilled with water from a Fargo tanker. You will also see a couple of Woodward firefighters working to replace a tire on another grass rig.
