Woodward, Okla. —
A state legislator will be the featured speaker for the Senior Circle breakfast program this Friday at Woodward Regional Hospital.
State Rep. Jeff Hickman, R-Fairview, is scheduled to review the state questions that will be presented to Oklahoma voters on the November ballot .
While the Senior Circle program is geared toward persons 50-years or older, anyone from the public is welcome to attend this Friday's breakfast.
"Breakfast begins at 9 a.m., followed by the representative's presentation," said Hospital Marketing Director Lori Messenger. "There's a fee for non-Senior Circle members to eat, while those over 50 may join Senior Circle at the meeting for an additional charge."
No advanced reservations are necessary.
Messenger said she hadn't heard any specific concerns about any of the questions, but she knows that many Senior Circle members have an interest in being briefed about them.
The 6 state questions deal with a variety of issues from property taxes to affirmative action to pardon and parole issues to doing away with Department of Human Services.
For more information about Senior Circle, which meets every Thursday and Friday morning, and the fees, contact Messenger at (580) 254-8665.
