Woodward, Okla. —
Fundraisers galore are taking place all across the Woodward school district.
At Horace Mann Elementary, the PTO is putting on a "That's My Pan" fundraiser in which they sell custom engraved cake pans to raise money for school improvements, which include everything from playground maintenance to replacing window blinds.
In addition to pans, they're also selling Rada cutlery. Anyone interested in cake pans or cutlery are encouraged to contact either a Horace Mann student participating in the sale or the school, 256-2660.
Highland Park also has several fundraisers going on, including a Bedlam t-shirt sale through Oct 22nd. Students will be selling t-shirts that read "OU - Beat the Cowboys" or "OSU - Beat the Sooners" to raise funds for the school and so "you can show and wear your Oklahoma Pride!" according to their flyer.
Highland Park is also selling a chance to win a lifetime hunting and fishing license, a prize valued at $775, or a 2-day hunting trip at one of Northwest Oklahoma's premiere hunting locations. The drawing will take place at Highland Park's spaghetti supper on Nov. 14th.
All of Highland Park's fundraising goes towards getting the school new computers and ipads. For more information contact the school at 256-2500.
Cedar Heights will be selling Red Wheel frozen food products to raise funds for their accelerated reading program. The Products include everything from cookie dough to frozen pizzas so those interested are encouraged to contact Cedar Heights' students participating in the sale. Contact Cedar Heights at 256-6521
Tonight will be the Early Childhood Center's Cow Plop fundraiser, in which participants who buy tickets will have a chance at a $500 prize depending on where the cow plops. The event will also feature a petting zoo, horse rides, and a practice steer roping area.
All proceeds raised go towards updating the playground equipment of the school. You can contact the school at 256-2561.
