Wednesday was the last day to file as a candidate for school board offices.
In Woodward County, Dewey Holdeman filed at Fort Supply for Office No. 3. Also at Fort Supply, incumbent Lynn Easterwood filed for another term in Office No. 5 on Monday. Office No. 4 did not draw any interest.
On Tuesday, Linda Harrison filed for re-election for her position on the Woodward School Board and Brett Alan Bates did the same for his position at Mooreland. Ray Yauk filed for the position at High Plains Technology Center Zone 3.
Mark Shirley and Misty D. Thompson both filed for Office No. 5 in Sharon- Mutual on Monday, where the incumbent is Kelly Overton.
In Ellis County, Jack Forbes and Virginia Mann filed for the position in Gage, along with Dorothy Coffey and incumbent Kevin O’Brien, who filed earlier in the week. Steve Peck filed for the position in Arnett.
Also earlier in the week, Terry Brent Imke filed for re-election in Shattuck and Bill Hallmark filed in Fargo.
In Dewey County, Matthew Miller filed for Office No. 5 in Taloga, as did Karen M. Daily. Earlier in the week, Troy Guthrie filed in Vici and Robert C. Tate filed for re-election at Seiling.
In Harper County, four people filed for Office No. 5 at Buffalo. Susan E. Orange, Marvin Wilkinson, Bradley L. Harmon and Heather Stephens all filed on Wednesday. Chance Husted filed for the Laverne Office No. 5 on Tuesday.
The school board elections will be held on Feb. 9.
