On Tuesday, the United Methodist Women in Mooreland will hold their annual Thanksgiving dinner from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Organizers said the dinner has been held for at least 50 years - originally in the basement of the church and now in the church’s Family Life Center.
The church women serve up all the traditional Thanksgiving favorites.
Proceeds go to a number of area groups including the Pregnancy Center, Domestic Crisis Center, Christmas gifts to the Mooreland Nursing Home and more.
