Arnett starts 2-0
CHEYENNE – Arnett started its fall baseball season with a pair of wins over Cheyenne Tuesday
The Wildcats took the opener 12-1 behind the pitching of Tanner Bryant.
Ross Royal had two hits and drove in four runs while Kory Fayle had three RBI and Brycen Shoaf a pair of hits. Pete Drouhard homered for Cheyenne.
Allen Christensen’s three-run homer in the top of the fifth was the difference in Arnett’s 3-2 victory in the nightcap. Marc White was the winning pitcher and Shoaf got the save.
In other games, Hammon beat Fargo twice and Drummond downed Vici.

Former Arnett All-Stater Randy Henry is now in the Baltimore Orioles organization.
Henry signed with the Orioles on Wednesday. He was drafted in the fourth round, No. 116 overall, after a strong freshman season at South Mountain Junior College. He will report to Bluefield, W. V. to play in the rookie league. He was signed as a relief pitcher.
