Woodward, Okla. —
Enrollment for the spring semester at Northwestern Oklahoma State University is larger than a year ago, according to figures in an enrollment report submitted to the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education.
Total enrollment for the current spring semester is 2,138 students, an increase of 95 students or 4.7 percent from 2012.
Enrollment at the Alva main campus jumped by 4.5 percent or 60 students to 1,381.
Enrollment at Northwestern-Enid remained nearly the same at 303.
Northwestern-Woodward reported stable enrollment numbers, dropping only four students to 248.
Enrollment at Northwestern’s outreach sites, including the University Center of Ponca City, increased by 28 students to 173. A total of 33 high school students are enrolled in concurrent courses.
The sum of Northwestern’s campus and outreach enrollments is slightly larger than the total headcount figure because some students take classes at multiple sites.
