Woodward, Okla. —
BUFFALO - Christmas is coming a little early to Buffalo, as the Harper County Family and Consumer Sciences group has scheduled its annual Christmas Crafts Mall for Nov. 3.
The crafts mall, which will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Harper County Fair Building, will feature booths filled with all sorts of holiday goodies. This includes baked goods, jewelry, woodworking and other crafts, candles, sometimes rare coins, aprons and wreaths, just to name a small sample of what will be shown, according to Event Chair Christina Richard.
"And we would be glad to have more," Richard said.
She urges those interested in reserving a booth space for the annual Christmas mall to make their reservations as soon as possible.
"The spaces are going fast," Richard said, but noted "People can sign up right until the time the mall opens. If we run out of spaces, we will start a reserve list."
In addition to browsing booths, visitors to the mall can enjoy a lunch of homemade chicken and noodles or ham and beans. There is a fee for the meal, with proceeds going to benefit the Harper County Family and Consumer Sciences scholarship programs and contribute to the upkeep of the fair building, Richard said.
For more information about the crafts mall, including booth rental fees, contact Harper County OSU Extension Administrative Secretary Mandy Bowles at (580) 735-2252 or mandy.bowles@okstate.edu.
