Woodward, Okla. —
Enrollment is underway for students who want to take classes during the 2013 spring semester on the Weatherford and Sayre campuses of Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
The 2013 spring semester begins January 9 at SWOSU.
Daniel Archer, registrar on the Weatherford campus, said the university does have online enrollment available through the SWOSU Web site (www.swosu.edu), so enrollment can be completed anytime during the holidays. In order to use the online enrollment system, a student must already be fully admitted to the university and have no unresolved issues related to their enrollment.
For students who would like to enroll in person, SWOSU on both campuses will be closed December 24 through the holidays and will reopen at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, January 2.
Additional information about enrollment is available by calling the SWOSU Registrar’s office in Weatherford at (580) 774-3777 or the Sayre Registrar’s office at (580) 928-5533.
One hundred twenty-three Southwestern Oklahoma State University students on the Weatherford campus have been named to the 2013 edition of Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.
The Who's Who award is one of the biggest academic honors on campus, because the students are selected from among some 900 seniors at SWOSU.
Campus nominating committees and editors of the annual directory select the students based on academic achievements, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities and potential for continued success.
The SWOSU students will be honored at a reception on Sunday, February 24, at 2 p.m. in the SWOSU Fine Arts Center on the Weatherford campus.
