Fundraiser planned in Sharon

The Sharon-Mutual senior class will be holding a Chicken and Noodle supper Sunday Jan. 18 at Sharon in the elementary cafeteria. Hours are 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The supper is being held to help raise funds for the senior class trip. This year Sharon-Mutual seniors and sponsors will be taking a cruise to the Cayman Islands. The ship leaves June 6. A total of 16 students and sponsors have already signed up for the trip.

“We are primarily raising money for the students to have spending money,” said Marna White, senior class sponsor for Sharon-Mutual. “We don’t want them to pay out of pocket for souvenirs or gifts on the trip.”

Mashed potatoes, greenbeans, salad and hot rolls will be served along with the chicken and noodles.

Currently the senior class is selling enchilada plates.

The only cost for the supper is donations to the senior class.
