The Woodward Area Coalition (WAC) is looking for more organizations to participate in its fifth annual Family Fun Fair set for August 21.
“Anybody who wants to have a booth can,” said Karen Harrison, WAC co-chair, noting that in the past every type of organization from church groups to business groups have participated.
Organizations who have already signed up for this year’s fair include Woodward County EMS, which will be providing ambulance tours to families, and Laverne Family Chiropractic, which will be providing spinal checks as well as sponsoring a “pin and spin” game, she said.
Games are the focus of the evening, Harrison said, noting that the fun fair is held as “one last fun thing” just as the school year kicks off.
“We want to get families out and have fun together,” she said.
“We tentatively plan for it to be at Centennial Park,” Harrison said, noting that Centennial Park is where the fun fair has traditionally been held the past four years.
The fun fair will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on August 21.
