Whitsitt-Coonts engagement

Nikole Dawn Whitsitt and Joshua Coonts, both of Aurora, Colo., announce their engagement and plans to marry on Nov. 14, 2009, at the Willow Ridge Manor in Morrison, Colo. A reception for the couple will be held in the Pioneer Room in Woodward on Nov. 21, 2009 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Whitsitt is the daughter of Don and Pam Whitsitt, of Aurora, Colo., and the granddaughter of Opal and the late Joe Miller of Woodward and Verla and Lewis Whitsitt of Gage. She is a 2003 graduate of Eaglecrest High School in Aurora. She graduated from Metropolitan State College-Denver in May 2009 with a bachelor’s in chemistry, concentration in criminalisitics.

Coonts is the son of Robert and Lisa Coonts of Centennial, Colo., and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Kissinger of Rockport, Texas, and Mary and the late Wesley Coonts, of Denver. He is a 2003 graduate of Grandview High School in Centennial. He received an associates degree in architectural design from Westwood College in 2005.

Both are currently employed in Denver.
