Jill Sharp and Rodney Simmons of Woodward announce their engagement and plans to marry on June 7, 2011, at Waimanalo Beach, Hawaii.
Sharp is the daughter of Cindy and Steve Whitfield and Monte and Becky Sharp. She teaches family and consumer sciences at Mooreland High School. Sharp is a 2005 graduate of Mooreland High School and a 2009 graduate of Oklahoma State University.
Simmons is the son of Rocky and Mary Jane Simmons. He is employed at Simmons Machine Works. He is a 2000 graduate of Woodward High School and a 2005 graduate of Oklahoma State University.
