Woodward, Okla. — Lana Witt and Nick Chunyu Fugh announce their engagement and plans to marry on May 22, 2010 on the island of Gulangyu , Fujian Province, People’s Republic of China and in Oklahoma late summer 2010.

Witt is the daughter of Lorene Gardner Witt of Woodward, and Jess and Susan Witt of Keller, Texas.  She's the granddaughter of the former Clarence and Exia Gardner and Frank and Ida Witt all of Woodward. She's a graduate of Woodward High School and Oklahoma Baptist University currently living, teaching and studying in Xiamen, Fujian Province, People’s Republic of China.

Fugh is the son of the late Meiyu Huang and Shanlu Fu of Xiamen, Fujian Province, People’s Republic of China   He is a graduate of Tongji University in Shanghai, North Carolina State University in Raleigh and Duke University   He currently resides in Xiamen, Fujian Province, People’s Republic of China working as assistant general manager and director of research and development with Yuzhou Properties Company Limited.

Following the ceremony the couple plans to continue life and work in PRC throughout the next few years.
