Woodward, Okla. — Jennifer Shifflett and J.P. Parker have announced their engagement and plans to marry on May 21, 2010 at 7 p.m. at Faith United Methodist Church in Woodward.
Shifflett is the daughter of Kent and Karen Shifflett of Woodward. Grandparents are Gary and Roseanna Langston of Woodward and Gerald and Lolly Shifflett of Oakwood. She is a 2009 graduate of Woodward High School and attends Northwestern Oklahoma State University at the Woodward campus. She also works for Beaver Express at the Corp Office.
Parker is the son of Mike Parker and Jeanie Simons of Chester. Grandparents are Gus and Viola Redinger of Seiling. He is a 2005 Fairview High School graduate. He is currently self-employed with Parker Welding.
