Woodward, Okla. — Kristy Michelle Sexton and Jason Derek Williams announce their engagement and plans to marry on August 28, 2010 at The Gallery in Houston, Texas.

Sexton is the daughter of Rhonda and Mark McMakin and Barry and Tonya Sexton of Woodward.

She is a 1997 graduate of Woodward High School. She graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in corporate communications and public relations from the University of Houston. Sexton currently works as a legal administrator for Edison, McDowell, & Hetherington LLP in Houston.

Williams is the son of Jerry and D’Ann Williams of Pflugerville, Texas.

Williams is a 2000 graduate of Pflugerville High School. He attended Centenary College on a soccer scholarship where he graduated in 2005 with a bachelor of science degree in finance and mathematics. He is currently working as a financial analyst for El Paso Exploration and Production.

After a honeymoon in Hawaii, the couple will reside in Houston, Texas.
