Woodward, Okla. —
Billie Lynn Castor and Brett Scott Coldwater announce their engagement and plans to marry on July 9, 2010 at 6 p.m. in Maui, Hawaii.
Castor is the daughter of Frank and Charlotte Castor of Vici and granddaughter of Marilla Castor of Woodward, the late Leon Castor of Vici, the late Bill Castor of Woodward, and the late russell and Velma Adams of Blackwell. She is a 2009 graduate of Northwestern Oklahoma State University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. She is currently the owner of a small home daycare in Alva.
Coldwater is the son of son of Sonny and Rae Bates of Alva and Gene and Nina Coldwater of Sayre. He is the grandson of Earl and Rilla Semmel of Forgan, Charles and Dorthey Jean Coldwater of Forgan, the late Roy and Opal Young of Cherokee and the late Ralph and Mamie Bates of Alva. He is a 1994 graduate of Cherokee High School. He currently owns a residential and cedar tree business in Alva.
A reception for the couple will be held on July 24, 2010 at the Moose Lodge in Alva.
