Shooting scene

Emergency vehicles surrounded a home in the 2900 block of Edgewood Tuesday afternoon after receiving a call about a woman being shot in the head in the home’s garage. The woman was first transported by Woodward County EMS to Woodward Regional Hospital then was medi-flighted to St. Anthony’s in Oklahoma City. Det. Lt. Chuck Wheeler said the woman had received “a single gunshot wound to the head” and that the weapon used “appears to be a little .25 semi-automatic pistol.”
